Are you looking for a fun way to stay active or have a fun night out friends? If so, you might want to check out the free line dancing classes hosted every week by Ghost Town Dancing! Enjoy a lively atmosphere whether you are a beginner or have some experience, these classes are designed to be enjoyable and accessible for everyone, no matter your skill level.
Where Is Line Dancing Held?
I am currently at two different locations every week:
Project Barley Brewery & Pizzeria Lomita
2308 Pacific Coast Highway
Lomita, CA 90717
Every Friday from 7:00pm-11:00pm
Port Town Brewing Co.
285 W 7th St.
San Pedro, CA 90731
Every other Saturday from 7:00pm-10:00pm
Instruction is held between 7:00pm-9:00pm , open floor dancing is after instruction until venue closing time.
What to Expect at Ghost Town's Classes
Warm-Up: Each class starts with a few line dances before instruction to get your body ready for dancing.
Instruction: Instruction is taught step by step and I will break down each move, making it easy to follow along for beginners. There are 4-5 line dances taught during class. Classes are open to all experience levels, as dances of varying difficulty are taught, but tailored to be beginner friendly.
Break Time: After the second lesson of the night there is always a break. Music continues through the break for experienced dancers to get more dancing in!
Open Floor: After instruction there is an open floor that runs until closing. Ideal for more advanced dancers looking to dance the night away, and beginners feel free to join in on the fun and learn some new dances on the spot! Line dance requests are always accepted and encouraged!
Food and Drinks
Venues sell food and drinks and it is appreciated when you support the venue as it helps to keep the classes free! Wrangle up some good eatin' and get your boots stomping!
