Are you looking for a fun way to stay active or have a fun night out friends? If so, you might want to check out the free line dancing classes hosted every week by Ghost Town Dancing! Enjoy a lively atmosphere whether you are a beginner or have some experience, these classes are designed to be enjoyable and accessible for everyone, no matter your skill level.
Where Are We Line Dancing?
We are currently at two different locations every week:
Project Barley Square Torrance
1109 Van Ness Ave
Torrance, CA 90501
Every Wednesday starting at 7:00PM
Keegan's Sports Lounge and Grill
1434 Marcelina Ave
Torrance, CA 90501
Every Thursday starting at 8:00PM
Instruction is roughly two hours including dance/break time, open floor dancing is after instruction until venue closing time.
What to Expect at Ghost Town's Classes
Warm-Up: Each class starts with a few line dances before instruction to get your body ready for dancing.
Instruction: Instruction is taught step by step and instructors will break down each move, making it easy to follow along for beginners. There are 4-5 line dances taught during class. Our classes are open to all experience levels, as we teach dances of varying difficulty.
Break Time: After the second lesson of the night there is always a break. Music continues through the break for experienced dancers to get more dancing in!
Open Floor: After instruction there is an open floor that runs until closing. Ideal for more advanced dancers looking to dance the night away, and beginners feel free to join in on the fun and learn some new dances on the spot! Instructors are out on the floor during this time to help teach on the floor. Feel free to request any line dances!
Crowd Pick: The last lesson of the night is always chosen by you! Follow @ghosttowndancing on Instagram where we post a poll onto our story every week for you to vote for which dances you want to learn next!
Food and Drinks
Our venues sell food and drinks and have western themed specials for you to choose from! We appreciate when you support the venue as it helps to keep the classes free! Wrangle up some good eatin' and get your boots stomping!
