Ghost Town Dancing was founded by two friends, Kat and Lex, who began their line dancing journey together. Week after week they would go to all the big-name country bars around them only to be met with disappointment and bruised confidence. They were tired of going to places where song requests went unheard and new dancers felt left on the sidelines. The music rarely reflected what they loved, and as beginners often found the dance floor intimidating.

 

Ghost Town Dancing was created to change that.

 

Here, your favorite songs make the playlist, instruction requests are welcomed, and we pride ourselves on blending advanced dancers with newcomers so everyone feels a part of the experience. What began as a simple idea- to make line dancing fun, approachable, and inclusive- has grown into a thriving community built on connection, confidence, and memories that last a lifetime.

Present day, Lex runs Ghost Town Dancing on her own while Kat has moved on in her career in a law firm, but still comes to dance with everyone from time to time.
